It is too incredible to be true that Adele is in it again, her '25' album is now the best-selling in just three days after its release.

Her new album, 25, has managed to top the best releases of 2015. According to Nielsen, by Monday morning, the best-selling album sold about 2.3 million copies, this puts the album ahead of any other album's numbers this year.

According to Forbes, Taylor Swift's 1989 was 2015's best-selling album before 25 arrived, it earned this title last year. Back when the music industry still was not sure if Adele was even going to release an album, it looked like 1989 might have been the rare record that was powerful and popular enough to be among the best-selling album two years consecutively, but for now, it is no longer a possibility.

So far this year, Taylor Swift's pop blockbuster has sold around 1.8 million copies. Last year, in just a few months after the release, the record moved over 3.5 million units. Thanks mostly in part to "Blank Space" and "Shake It Off" which are her two massive number one hits.

In the meantime, the 1989 is working its way step by step down the charts, it left the top ten recently after having an entire year in the Billboard 200 for the highest tier. It is possible that another single and the holiday season will propel it past the 2 million sales mark in 2015.

The year, 2015, has been a fairly slow year for most music sales, as aside from 25. No album released this year has been all that close to Swift's 1989. The fourth quarter is typically when many of the biggest stars produce their songs, but for now, there are not currently enormous projects expected, as plenty of labels rescheduled their release to work around Adele's timeline. A number of artists have had especially impressive years in terms of album sales although none of them are likely to have serious play for second place on the year-end list.
