Following Tuesday night's 111-77 victory over Lakers from Los Angeles, Andrew Bogut's Golden State Warriors set a record with 16 uninterrupted wins for the best start to a NBA season.
According to Espn, the Golden State Warriors passed the 15-0 starts of the 1948-1949 Washington Capitals and the 1993-1994 Houston Rockets. They were playing in a standing-room-only in front of a crowd at Oracle Arena. The derby took place at warrior's home venue but without Steven Kerr, their regular coach, who is recovering from back surgery. Luke Walton, a former Lakers player, is serving in the interim.

Stephen Curry, the NBA MVP, was involved in Warriors' victory in nine assists and scoring with 24 points. The Warriors are not likely to rout every opponent on the schedule notwithstanding the team's strong showing early in the season, Curry said.
According to him, it is a great accomplishment any time someone does something not done before. But Tom Goldman argued that their winning streak could extend to about 28 games.
The Warriors are dominating the NBA and this could continue until the next month while still captivating fans everywhere. Until their Christmas Day game with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Warriors do not face an elite team, The Sidney reported.
After beating the injury-plagued Cavs in last year's playoffs, the Warriors are the NBA defending champions.
Two more records are up for win if the Warriors are able to keep winning. The 1995-1996 Bulls team had a record of 72 total victories in a season and the 1971-1972 Lakers team had victories in 33 consecutive games for the longest streak in NBA history.
The Warriors' record-tying chance would come on Jan. 2 at home against Denver if they do get through this gauntlet and find themselves still unbeaten by the time the New Year rolls around. Two days later, a game against Charlotte at Oracle Arena would provide a chance to break the record.
