There are rumors that the release of the much-anticipated book "Winds of Winter" may happen after "Game of Thrones" Season 6 premieres.

The sixth book in the popular franchise "A Song of Fire and Ice," has been long awaited. Fans all over the world have been eagerly anticipating the release of this book for five long years, according to Parent Herald.

Author George R.R Martin is often being scrutinized for delaying the book time after time. Even though the author expressed his concerns about finishing the book as soon as possible, fans are hoping that the book will be released before the Season 6 premiere of "Game of Thrones." However, according to the latest rumors, the book is not yet complete and it can only be released after the premiere of "Game of Thrones" Season 6, according to Christian Today.

The poster of the 6th season of "Game of Thrones" shows a bloodied face of the beloved character Jon Snow. This has ignited hopes of Snow being alive in the series after all.

Even though the book is yet to see the light of the day, the show runners are already well versed with its manuscript. This might imply that Snow is actually alive in the book as well. Even Martin said that one of the characters who everyone believes to be dead is actually alive.

He also stated in one his tweets that "Winds of Winter" will include a major twist. This automatically implies that the 6th season, which is roughly based entirely on this book, will also show case many twists and turns.

It was reported last month that "Winds of Winter" was undergoing translations in many languages. So if it takes an average of four months for it to be released after the process of translation is complete, we might get the book within the first quarter of next year.
