The new upcoming DLC for "Halo 5: Guardians" is known as the "Cartographer's Gift." It is packed with new maps for Arena and Warzone, along with new weapons and armor.

A new Halo player creation tool, known as "Forge" in also included in the upcoming DLC.

"Halo 5: Guardians," which was released in the month of October, is expected to get a major DLC expansion in December. This will not be the first DLC release for this game, according to Cross Map.

The recently released downloadable content expansions have already brought a lot of added game play for players, states Game Spot. These DLCs include the popular Big Team Battle map in addition with to a few other maps for the latest mode.

The recent DLC release for "Halo 5: Guardians," called the Battle of Light and Shadow, added the Shinobi ninja themed armor along with the epic Light Rifle fire power. With the latest upcoming DLC though, it is going to be even better.

In the latest Halo Livestream, the game developers tease on the upcoming releases and updates. They also teased about the added game play which will be seen in the DLC for "Halo 5: Guardians."

The live stream was supported with a statement stating that the "Halo 5: Guardians" is going to get a lot of free DLC content in the near future. The developers also teased in the video that the game will portray everything that the players are expecting and that it is going to be absolutely stunning.

This got a lot of players getting involved in discussions about the possible additions in the upcoming DLC of the game. They think that the upcoming DLC will showcase content from the earlier DLC's in addition to the Big Team Battle and also the 48 new REQs.

"Halo 5: Guardians" was released for Play Station 4, the Xbox One, and the PC consoles. The DLC will be released for all the three consoles.
