Lawyers for alleged murderer Heather Mack reveal that the suspect is two months pregnant. They also disclosed that Mack was assaulted by Bali police while detained after being arrested for the murder of her rich mother on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old heiress together with her 21-year-old newbie rapper boyfriend Tommy Schaefer were arrested on Wednesday after police found her mother, Sheila von Wiese-Mack, bludgeoned to death and stuffed in a suitcase the day before.

Police reports indicate that the 62-year-old victim's mangled body was found jammed in a suitcase left at a taxi's trunk at the St. Regis Bali resort.
Two days after being taken into custody, the couple was charged with murder on Friday upon the determination of premeditated murder supported by evidence. They will be facing the firing squad if found guilty of suspicion.
However, Mack's lawyer Michael Elkin said in a statement sent to the media on Saturday that his client was not yet charged and was mistreated by the Bali police despite the fact that she was two months pregnant during the arrest.
ABC News reported on Saturday about Elkin's claims, who revealed that his client was abused while in custody. The lawyer disclosed that officers had physically assaulted his client despite her claims of having an ectopic pregnancy.
She was allegedly threatened to be deprived of food, water, and legal counsel privileges if her attorney did not reach the country within a few days.
According to Denpasar Chief of Police Hari Utomo, the couple refused to talk to the police without their lawyers.
Efforts to obtain any comment from the local police department of Bali failed as calls were either not answered or dropped, ABC News reported.
Reports stated that Wiese-Mack's friends have warned her about her 'vicious little monster' of a daughter, citing that she was advised not to take her daughter to her dream vacation in Bali.
Meanwhile, the mother-daughter relationship between the suspect and victim was not smooth-sailing as the wealthy socialite had been reportedly seen arguing several times with her daughter.
In addition, records show that police have responded to their suburban residence in Chicago more than 80 times in the past. These reports were mostly due to domestic violence.
