'Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert' took place at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, December 5. It will be aired on AMC on Dec. 19 at 9:00 ET/PT. The remarkable, star-studded event was hosted by Kevin Bacon.
According to Rolling Stones, the one-night-only concert to pay tribute to John Lennon on his 75th birthday featured a spectacular line-up of great names in music like Sheryl Crow, Aloe Blacc, Eric Church, Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, John Fogerty, Aerosmith's front man Steven Tyler and many others.

Fogerty started the event with "Give Peace a Chance" and the appearances by Juanes and Aloe Blacc. Sheryl Crow performed "A Hard Day's Night" and was joined on stage by Stapleton and Brandon Flowers for "Don't Let Me Down."
In the second half of the show, Spoon performed 'Hey Bulldog." Country star Eric Church played "Mind Games" and Steven Tyler led the house band on "Come Together."
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr made special pre-taped clips to honor their late bandmate. A portion of the concert's proceeds will benefit Robin Hood, a New York-based organization fighting poverty.
John Lennon, the founder of The Beatles, drastically changed the music industry. In 1970, after he left the group, Lennon began his booming solo career propelled by his legendary album, Imagine.
The 'most iconic' Beatle, who would have turned 75 on October 9th, died on June 08, 1980. He was murdered by a fan named Mark Chapman as Lennon returned to his New York apartment in Manhattan with Yoko, his wife.
