Without providing any detail, a rep. from Luhan's management agency said, as quoted by Korea Boo, "Luhan's health has not been good." He will no longer partake in professional activities, including attending fan meetings. The doctor has recommended that he rests properly.
He is expected to recover soon, according to reports.
Luhan has had a busy schedule in his home country, China, ever since he quit EXO in October 2014. In addition to bagging solo advertising deals, he also signed on films and other acting projects. His latest film "Witness" was released on Oct. 30 in China. Luhan is also starring in "The Great Wall," an American-Chinese co-production that is scheduled to released in December 2016 in China.
Earlier in November, Luhan was in Australia to film the Chinese version of "Running Man," "Hurry Up, Brother." He has joined the third season of the reality-variety show as a new member.
Meanwhile, Luhan is still locked in a legal battle with his former management agency, SM Entertainment. After he quit EXO, he filed a lawsuit against the agency, seeking termination of his exclusive contract. Luhan's legal rep. has accused SM Entertainment of never giving the singer proper compensation documents after he signed an exclusive contract with them.
