Android Tablet Pixel C was recently released as the first tablet from Google. While it boasts decent specs and full-sized keyboard accessory, the device lacks the productivity capacity of other tablets like the iPad Pro and Surface Pro.

Glen Murphy, user experience director of Android and Chrome in a Reddit conversation, said that there are several things that they have been spending most of their time on just like the multi-window feature and that they are hoping that they can share more about this soon. He added that Google is already working to make the Android OS even better by adding some enhancements so as to compete with other tablets that run on Microsoft Windows, Chrome OS, as well as Apple's iOS 9, which all have awesome multitasking features.

Google consumer hardware director Andrew Bowers, on the other hand, said that they are working on different ideas at the moment for the N. He  added that they would spoil the surprise of N if they shared all of it. He stressed that work on the split screen is in progress, revealing the new feature that will be added to the Next Android N operating system. However, the N might not be released until next year.

Upon the release of the Google's Android tablet Pixel C, Google has been testing different OS for the first Android tablet and it took them a while to pick the Android Marshmallow 6.0.
