"Fallout 4's" glitches and other glaring issues have been addressed and improvements in technology have been made in this update. However, some pubdits believe the improvements on PlayStation 4 is better compared to the Xbox One version. The PlayStation 4 improvements were aimed at optimizing the entire game. A combat that pushes the memory bandwidth of the PS4 to the limit can now be boosted on this new patch.
While drops remain an issue, the upgraded version on PS4 showed a notable improvement. The test conducted showed a balance between the frame rates and both consoles, including the smooth performance of PS4 in Corvega section. However, Xbox remains in the same frame rate despite the new 1.02 patch installed. Comparison between the update and the launch day 1.01 display hardly shows any contrasts in the open world, except in the Corvega factory handling.
Pundits say Xbox One's gains on the new patch are not as great compared to the PS4's. This led to PS4's catching up in areas that it fell short, particularly in battles, thus, earning an edge in terms of an extensive frame rate.
"Fallout 4's" Nuka-Cola Quantum, in addition, is making a comeback next week on Target for free with Xbox Season Pass or it can be bought for $2.99.
