'Persona 5' Release Update: Katsura Hashino Says They are Pressured With Fans' Expectations

"Persona 5" is not rolling out in 2015.Five long years have passed since the production of "Persona 5" began and still Atlus has not announced any definite release date for the upcoming game. Fans were disappointed to realize that the roll out may not happen this year.

"Persona" gamers and fans have been asking unceasingly about the game's release schedule and Atlus is constantly assuring them that the production of "Persona 5" is still going smoothly. Despite this, fans' reaction to the newly released trailer for the game's fifth instalment has come as a shock to the game's producers.

"Persona 5" trailer was released and the most typical response from fans is that the game seems fashionable and stylish. However, Shigenory Soejima, senior designer to the game, is unsure about this response, since the idea behind the game is far from being fashionable. There is an arguably sufficient room for alterations, considering that Atlus has not yet given the public a release schedule. However, many are hoping that the game designers would not go too far from its trailer, which many say works for "Persona 5."

"Persona 5 Director," Katsura Hashino meanwhile stated in an interview with Gaming Bolt that the company is well pleased with the fans' response. According to the director, "It's a huge relief to all of us on the team to have things turn out [great]. Still, it's also indicative that the anticipation is running really high among people who have enjoyed our work up until now, so it's not without some pressure coming our way, too."
