HTC One X9 Release Update: 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Processor, 1TB Expandable Storage Slot, 3000mAh Battery Power Device; Android 5.0.2 Lollipop or Android 6.0 Marshmallow Uncertain

HTC One X9, the speculated flagship phone of the HTC Corporation, will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset when it is launched in the early part of 2016.

The HTC One X9 boasts of impressive specifications, according to TENAA listing, which serves as a telecommunications device certification in China.

The TENAA listing reveals that the device will be equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel. The HTC One X9 will be powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor as well. It comes with a 1GB inbuilt storage, 2GB of RAM and up to 1TB expandable storage slot. The device runs on Android 5.0.2 operating system.

Questions regarding the Android 5.0.2 or Lollipop and the latest Android 6.0 or Marshmallow operating system are still going. Android fans are still wondering whether the device will be pre-installed with Lollipop or the latter.

The HTC One X9 truly boasts of powerful specification. But apart from that, it also offers a bunch of mind-boggling features that will definitely impress everyone. It is armed with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing snapper. Connectivity-wise, it comes with Bluetooth, 4G LTE, USB, GPS, and many other connectivity options. The flagship phone is also rumored to pack a 3000mAh battery.
