In addition, the Chinese tech giant is also planning to export another mobile game to Japan by 2016. To that end, Tencent is also collaborating with Japanese local mobile games creator named Aiming Inc.
Tencent's plan to introduce its games to overseas markets is still in its initial stages and success is not yet guaranteed. Exporting products from one market to another is quite a challenging task. There is a possibility that Chinese games might not be welcomed abroad since social preferences differ.
Chinese games are more focused on visual effects and a great deal of text, while the US games focuses more on basic interface which conceals the complicated nature of games. If Tencent is successfully able to introduce Chinese games overseas, it will be a tremendous opportunity for the Chinese technology firm.
The Global mobile games market is expected to generate $30.1 billion in 2015. This is double the amount it earned two years ago.
