Chinese company Huawei has launched a special Gold edition of its Nexus 6p smartphone in India. The special edition variant of Google Nexus comes in gold color and is said to be a limited edition collector's item.

According to India's Huawei President Allen Wang, the launch of its Nexus 6P smartphone has seen great success with their Indian audience. Due to the said great success, the company decided to release a Golden edition of its Nexus 6P.

Huawei's new variant of its Nexus 6P is similar in features found in earlier released Aluminium, Frost versions and Graphite models. The Gold variant is still comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The phone features an Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system which runs with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa core processor with an Adreno 430 GPU.  In addition, the back of the phone uses an integrated Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor.

The device also packs with a 3GB RAM but it will only feature a 64GB internal storage, unlike to earlier counterparts which are available in 32GB and 128GB capacities as well. The phone comes weighing 178 g and 159.3 x 77.8 x 7.3 mm body dimension.

Huawei Nexus 6P features a 12.3MP in the main camera with dual LED flash that supports 4K recording and captures videos at 240 fps. The front camera comes with an 8.0 megapixel lens which is the highest resolution that a selfie camera for a Nexus handset has so far. The phone will be powered by a 3450-mAh battery which charges about 10 minutes for up to 7 hours of usage.

The phone also comes with dual front-facing stereo speakers, two microphones in front and one in the rear with a noise cancellation feature. The phone supports nano SIM slot with 4G LTE conectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC.

The company's special edition phone is exclusively made available in Flipkart starting on Monday. Huawei Nexus 6P with 64GB-capacity storage smartphone will be priced at ₹43,999 INR.
