(Photo : YouTube) Apple iPad Pro has seen very dismal sales figures in China.
Apple's iPad Pro, which was released a couple of months ago, is not doing so well in China.
The device is off to a very slow start in in the country. Only 49,000 units of the iPad Pro were reportedly sold in the first month of its availability. 49,000 is a really small number for a tech giant like Apple.

A few websites have compared the statistics of iPad Pro to other devices, such as the iPad Air 2. About 557,000 models of Apple's iPad Air 2 were sold in its first month of release, and up to 92,000 units of iPad mini 4 were sold in its first month.
The Cupertino-based company did not foresee such a dip in its latest product. That being said, the iPad Pro is not a cheap device. For the price of the iPad Pro, customers can easily pick up a brand new laptop. They can also opt for or a competing product such as Microsoft's Surface Pro 4.
In addition, the accessories which are to be bought with iPad Pro like the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard are also very costly. The price alone can be the main reason behind the dip in sales of the iPad Pro.
However, not all analysts have negative forecasts for the iPad Pro. Some of them say that Apple could still sell a total of 3 million units within the first three months of the availability of iPad Pro. Whether or not this is true, only time will tell.
Meanwhile, the device comes a screen display of 12.9 inches and an internal memory capacity of 128 GB, along with a primary camera of 8 mega pixel. It is currently available for approximately $800.
