LeTV, the Chinese online video streaming service, officially unveiled the price of its own VR Headset called LeVR COOL1, wich is by far the most affordable virtual reality headgear in the market that can be had for the price of $23 only.

LeTV's $23 or 149 yuan price for its VR headset is just right for a well-designed VR headset, unlike the Google Cardboard that is unsatisfactory in design and features. PhoneRadar reported that there are tremendous demands for this affordable virtual reality headset.

LeTV's new VR headset will be available starting Dec. 29 on the company's website called LeMall.    

The company already has tons of video collections on its online streaming service. With this numerous videos, the company decided to integrate their Video-on-Demand service to the LeVR.

The company called this integration "Virtual Private Theater" and they are hoping that with this move, consumers will help its VR market to grow.

LeTV reported that its VR headset will be sold in a batch. The first 20,000 units of its headset will be available for grabs on the Dec. 29 sale.

The device is currently compatible with its LeTV handsets, including the LeTV One and LeTV One Pro. However, the company is also planning to extend the compatibility of its device.

The LeVR Cool 1 virtual reality headset is now available for pre-order in China. As the upcoming CES event is fast approaching in the United States, LeTV is expected to showcase this VR headset in the expo as the company recently reported that they have already started selling its accessories in the online store. Gadget enthusiast should expect this affordable virtual reality kit head to the U.S. soon.

Meanwhile, it was recently announced that several VR headset makers are also on their way to the CES event such as the Archos VR, Razer VR, Air VR, and Carl Zeiss VR.
