LeTV Debuts its Entry Rumoured as Le 1s in India on January 5

Chinese Internet company LeTV is making its India debut on Jan. 5 and has already started sending out media invites for a scheduled event in New Delhi.
LeTV was founded in 2004 and has offered various verticals like live streaming, e-commerce, cloud computing, smart TVs, among others, within a 10-year span. Its first premium smartphone called Superphone was launched earlier this year in the Chinese market. Around four phones of the company have been launched so far, namely, Le 1, Le 1 Pro, Le 1s, and Le Max.

The Le 1s has dual SIM with support for dual standby and dual 4G connectivity. It comes with a fingerprint scanner that recognizes the user's fingerprint in 0.15 seconds. It sports a metal unibody and 5.5-inch full HD display. It runs Android 1.5 Lollipop that is based on eUI 5.5 of the company.
Its internals has the MediaTek Helio X10 processor at 2.2GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. Its measurements are 151.1 x 74.2 x 7.5mm, weighing 169 grams.
Le 1s has 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing cameras. The rear camera has phase detect autofocus (PDAF) technology and f/2.0 aperture that focuses in just 0.09 seconds. Its 3,000 mAh battery is packaged with an IR Blaster and a pre-installed Remote Control app. Le 1s is priced at CNY 1099, or approximately Rs 11,000.
LeTV launched earlier this year three USB Type-C Superphones. Firstly, the LeTV Le 1 has a 5.5-inch full HD display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and 403ppi pixel density. Secondly, the LeTV Le 1 Pro sports a 5.5-inch QHD display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution along with 538ppi pixel density. Lastly, the LeTV Le 1 Max phablet has a 6.33-inch QHD display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and 464ppi pixel density.
There is still no news as to which exact phone model will be launched in India, but there are a number of reports that LeTV is testing the Le 1s.
