Samsung's Latest Phablet Galaxy A9 Announced; Sports 6-Inch Display, 3 GB RAM, 13 Megapixel Camera, NFC and 4000 mAh Battery

(Photo : Reuters) Samsung's Galaxy A9 smartphone has since been certified by the Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA) in China, and by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) agency in the United States.

Samsung's highly anticipated phablet, the Samsung Galaxy A9, has been officially unveiled in China.

The device is one of the finest from Samsung so far. It features even more powerful specs than what is available in the Galaxy A3, the Galaxy A5, and the Galaxy A7.

Samsung Galaxy A9 has a 6-inch display screen area which is full HD Super AMOLED along with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device comes with the same metal frame and glass body design found in the Galaxy Note 5 and also the Galaxy S6. It is also reported that both the back and front panel of the device are covered with Corning Gorilla glass protection.

The device also house the octa core Snapdragon 652 processor. This is coupled with a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage capacity. The internal memory can be further expanded through a micro SD card up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy A9 is armed with a 13 mega pixel primary camera which is equipped with a wide aperture of f/1.9 and also features optical image stabilization. The front camera has an 8 mega pixel camera.

The device comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop pre-installed. The device reportedly supports dual SIM configuration along with 4G LTE data connection services. The device is also equipped with a finger print sensor which will allow users to use the Samsung Pay mobile payment service.

Other connectivity specs include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth v4.1, and also GPS. The phablet is equipped with a battery capacity of 4,000 mAh and it also supports fast charging.
