Chinese smartphone maker Gionee seems to be planning to launch new smartphones next year, after several of its devices have passed through the Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA) in China this month.
The latest Gionee smartphone to be certified by the Chinese regulator is the mid-range F105 handset.

Specs-wise, the Gionee F105 sports a 5.0-inch IPS display screen with a 1280 × 720 pixel resolution.
This phone weighs about 155 grams and measures 144.0 × 71.3 × 8.1mm in dimensions. It comes with the Android 5.1 Lollipop version operating system pre-installed, and is available in white and gold colors.
The Gionee F105 has an 8 megapixel camera on the back and a 5 megapixel camera on the front. Under the hood, the handset packs a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable built-in memory storage, and a 2,400 mAh battery. The internal memory can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card, Phone Arena reported.
There is no word yet on when the Gionee F105 will make its way into the market, and how much it will cost.
Earlier this month, the Gionee GN9010L and GN5001S devices received certifications from TENAA as well. The GN9010L is expected to sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED display screen with a 720 × 1280 pixel resolution, and a 1.3GHz octa-core CPU under its hood, according to a TENAA listing. This phone packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
On the other hand, the GN5001S is a low-end device, featuring a smaller 5.0-inch TFT display screen with a 1280 × 720 pixel resolution, and a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU inside, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of memory.
