Google and Huawei have announced on Wednesday at the Consumer Electronic Show 2016 in Las Vegas that a matte gold-colored version of the Huawei Nexus 6P is now available in the Google Store starting at 1PM Pacific time and on BestBuy.com later on in the day.

The gold version of Huawei Nexus 6P will only come in 32GB and 64GB models. The other color options, such as Aluminum, Frost, and Graphite, will also have a 128GB model.

Google is still having a hard time keeping up with demand for the Nexus 6P.

This rare color variant has so far only been spotted in Japan and India. Everything from the pricing, metal build, and specifications remains the same.

The Huawei Google Nexus 6P smartphone was launched in October last year. The phone features a 5.70-inch display screen with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels at a PPI of 518 pixels per inch.  The handset is powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The previously released model comes with a 32GB internal storage, which cannot be expanded.

The Smartphone sports a 12.3-megapixel primary rear camera and 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It runs on Android 6.0 that is powered by a 3450mAh non-removable battery. The handset measures 159.30 x 77.80 x 7.30 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 178.00 grams.

The Huawei Google Nexus 6P only has a single SIM Card slot that is compatible with a Nano-SIM. The device connectivity options include GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, and 4G. The Smartphone also features Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, and Gyroscope.
