Chinese singer-actor Lu Han has just dropped the music video for his Star Wars-inspired single titled 'The Inner Force.'

In a bid to drum up hype for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' ahead of its release in theaters, Lu Han was appointed as the ambassador of said film in China. He is been scheduled to promote the film across the country.

A teaser clip of Lu Han's 'The Inner Force' music video was released on Jan. 1 via YouTube, now the full music video has been released, much to the delight of fans.

The three-minute music video of the upbeat song has the theme of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.'

The music video starts with the view of a futuristic cityscape in what seems to be a sand-ridden, barren dystopian era with droids rolling about the dessert - similar to that in the movie. The former EXO member appears in a Jedi knight getup as he treads the barren lands with R2D2 and BB-8.

By the end of the music video, Kylo Ren, the villain in the film, is seen leading his Storm Trooper army, seemingly to attack Lu Han, and the latter, in turn wields a blue lightsaber, as if to prepare for battle.

Furthermore, 'The Inner Force' also features video cuts from the rather intense scenes in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.'

Previously, Lu Han was featured in a minute-long promotional video, where he is introduced into the film, transformed into a Jedi wielding a lighstaber.

In related news, EXO has been appointed as the promotional ambassador of 'Star Wars in South Korea. The boy band released a single titled "Lightsaber" last year.

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' will premiere in China on Jan. 9.
