OPPO wants to emphasize that aside from facilitating communication through SMS, social media, and messaging, their devices are capable of taking high definition pictures. That is the main reason why Oppo's F series exists. The F series Smartphone is photography-focused and the company claims that the flagship device has received a positive feedback regarding its cameras.
"The F series will inherit the excellent camera performance and exquisite design tradition that have earned accolades for OPPO's flagship series. The series will bring devices with impressive specs, eye-catching style and amazing prices that will have consumers doing double takes on the excellent specs and build quality," said Sky Li, OPPO Vice President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business
"We are very excited to introduce the F series, which will allow an even wider range of users from all around the world to experience OPPO's outstanding photography technology," Li added.
The company has not yet revealed details of the OPPO F1 hardware, but it was speculated that it is similar to OPPO A53, which was unveiled in China last year.
Oppo A53 features a 5.5-inch HD display screen that is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Octa-core SoC (System-on-Chip) paired with 2GB of RAM. The device has a built-in storage of 16GB and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by 3075 mAh capacity battery. It also sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, full HD recording, HDR, and a 5MP front camera.
However, this specs is based on speculation and has not yet been confirmed by the company.
