Art has always been part of the Chinese culture and has varied throughout history. It has been influenced by the different dynasties as well as the ever changing technology. Different forms of art have also been greatly influenced by popular philosophers, teachers, religious figures and even political leaders.

Music has also been a popular art form in China, with some sticking to their traditional roots and some embracing the Western music culture of rap and hip hop music. "Dance clubs have been growing in the recent years, this has exposed our younger generation to Western music, while the older generation still greatly appreciates the traditional songs that are usually accompanied by drums." a source says.

The exhibition is will run from January 14 until January 18th.
