Toure turns 33 this coming May and there are increasing questions over his future at the Etihad Stadium. The Ivorian midfielder has shown notable signs of slowing down during the present season and his contract will expire in 14 months time.
Toure began his football career at the ASEC Mimosas, an Ivorian football club based in Abidjan, where he made his debut at the aged of 18. His impressive performances attracted the attention of European clubs.
He moved to Barcelonas in 2007 after having stints with Belgian side Beveren, Metalurh Donetsk in Ukraine, Greek outfit Olympiacos and AS Monaco of France.
He played over 100 matches for Barca and was part of the historic 2009 Barcelona squad that won six trophies in a calendar year.
Toure moved to Premier League club Manchester City in 2010 and has scored a number of key goals for the Sky Blues, most notably the only goals in the 2011 FA Cup semi-final and final. He also helped the Citizens to claim their first Premier League title in over four decades.
Jiangsu Suning is a professional football club that currently competes in the highest tier of professional football in China, the Chinese Super League. The side is based in Nanjing, Jiangsu and their home stadium -- the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center -- can accommodate more than 61,000 people.
The Chinese club has been very busy in the transfer market. Recently, the outfit has agreed to a deal with AC Milan regarding Brazilian Luiz Adriano for around €14 million. The deal was reportedly closed and the Brazilian striker is now heading to China.
