ZTE has unveiled its latest device, a tiny 4G LTE hotspot called Falcon, in collaboration with T-Mobile.
ZTE is not releasing a new smartphone this time, but instead a new portable Wi-Fi device with 4G connectivity that promises to deliver a fast and reliable Internet connection. This new technology is not like the ordinary hotspot device we can find in the market today. The hotspot is very small - measuring only 10cm long, 6cm wide and 1.6cm thick.

The Falcon hotspots has been optimized by T-Mobile's 4G LTE network, which has recently been in the news for the upgrade of it connectivity signals. What makes this hotspot more interesting is that it is capable of handling up to 10 devices connected over Wi-Fi at the same time. In addition, if a user's phone supports the device, Falcon will even allow Wi-Fi calls to be made as well.
Moreover, the device is also capable of tethering computers via phone. By this method of sharing connection, less battery will be consumed unlike in the normal way. The company last hit the hotspot news for its innovative Mobley in-car hotspot. Using this new technology, instead of running on its own power, it connects to the OBDII port inside the vehicle.
ZTE previously released the multifunction Spro 2, which became the favorite item by the consumers. The device does not only provide 4G LTE connectivity on the go, but has also a built-in 5-inch touch screen. The device has a 6300Ah capacity battery, and a 200 lumens projector.
Spro 2 and Falcon hotspot will both be available in online and in some of T-Mobile's retail stores for just $80 starting Feb. 12.
