Huawei Has Shipped 10 Million P8 Lite Smartphones Since Its Launch

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has announced that it has shipped 10 million P8 Lite smartphone since the launch of the devices.
Interestingly, Huawei also reported that the P8 Lite phone is their first ever smartphone to be more popular internationally that it is in China, which means that its focus on the wider global market is going well.

The Huawei P8 Lite smartphone is a smaller, sleeker, and more affordable version of the P8 flagship. According the company, if the P8 and P8 Lite are put together, an impressive 16 million Huawei P8 series phones have shipped since the launch 9 months ago.
Huawei received a good quick start this year as it set a new record by shipping over 12 million smartphones in January - a 93 percent increase compared to January last year. January is also the fourth consecutive month that Huawei has shipped over 10 million smartphones. Obeserving the company's statistics, Huawei is growing and continuing its global growth.
Last year, the Chinese company successfully shipped over 108 million smartphones - a 44 percent increase from 2014. Huawei is now part of the top three best selling smartphone brands around the world.
Meanwhile, to continue its domination in the industry, Huawei is rumored to be set to release four versions of the P9 series this year. The company is expected to announce these devices within the weeks following Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Huawei has already confirmed that it will be at the conference in a few weeks time. However, it was not confirmed if P9 series will be debuting during the event.
