The trailer for the latest installment of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, aptly entitled "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon 2: The Sword of Destiny", was recently released.

The release happened simultaneously with the release of the official movie poster for the film "Return for Love".

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon 2: The Sword of Destiny is the sequel to the smash movie Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, which was released in 2000 and earned a whopping $200 million at the worldwide box office.

The second installment in the Hidden Dragon series is directed by acclaimed director Yuen Woo-Ping with its screenplay based on Du Lu Wang's famous novel, Iron Knight, Silver Vase and written by John Fusco.

Not much has been released regarding the sequels story. The IMDB page for the film states that the second Hidden Dragon installment follows the story of lost love, young love, a legendary sword and one last opportunity for redemption.

Most of the cast from the first Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon film will make a return, Michelle Yeoh will reprise her role of Yu Shu Lien while actor Donnie Yen will star as Meng Sizhao. Also part of the cast is Glee actor Harry Shum Jr. who will be portraying Tiefang.

Noticebly absent from the cast list is Actor Chow Yun Fat and Actress Zhang Ziyi. Both actors had to decline being in the film due to scheduling conflicts. 

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon II: The Sword of Destiny will be released in Chinese theatres on February 19th, 2016 and in the United States on February 20th, 2016.
