Recently, Lee announced that she is currently pregnant with twins. The happy news was met with many well-wishes, and Li also congratulated the couple for it.
Li is said to have conveyed her well wishes to Lee through the media in Hong Kong. After sending her best wishes to the couple, the model then posted a message on her official Weibo page, annoncing that she has passed a red wine certification course.
"The feelings of passing an examination returns," she wrote on her Weibo page. "I have passed!"
However, Li's seeming good intention was met with backlash from the netizens. Some Weibo users left snide remarks on the model's page, calling her names. "Cheap" and "mistress" particualrly stood out among the comments left on Li's page.
It is unclear what Lee's reaction was to the model's well-wishes for her. Meanwhile, Li has not reacted to the bashing she received online.
The affair between Li and Pang made news after photos of them kissing were revealed through Hong Kong tabloids. Both have admitted to the affair, which caused a rift between Lee and Pang, but in the end, the director chose to be with his wife.
