Argentine professional football player Ezequiel Lavezzi has reportedly agreed to a two-year contract with Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune putting a big period on speculations linking him with the reigning Premier League champions Chelsea FC.
Lavezzi's contract with the current Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain will be expiring at the end of this season. His representatives have reportedly held talks with the Roman Abramovich-owned club, as well as Italian football outfits Juventus and Inter Milan of the Serie A.

According to the Independent, the Greenland Group-owned Shanghai Shenhua of the Chinese Super League, "believed they had agreed a deal to sign the Argentina international on Tuesday, only for Hebei to steal the 30-year-old's signature from under their noses."
Lavezzi is expected to earn an estimated $34 million in his two-year contract with Hebei.
Hebei China Fortune was recently promoted to join China's premier football competition. The football side has been working on strengthening its squad by buying high profile players. The clun recently bought Gervinho and Stephane M'Bia.
If everything falls into place, Lavezzi will be the latest catch of the Asian giant from European leagues.
Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazilian star Alex Teixeira was the latest to make a switch to the Asian giant China in a $55 million deal with Jiangsu Suning. Chelsea's Ramires also joined the club for a reported $35 million deal.
Colombian player Jackson Martinez joined the reigning AFC Champions League and Chinese Super League champions Guangzhou Evergrande from La Liga side Atletico Madrid for a reported US$46 million contract.
The number of foreign international footballers switching to China is significantly growing and with the transfer window still open for the CSL until the 26th of this month, more players could still make the move.
