Fifteen-time NBA All Star Shaquile has been viewing the farewell tour of his former Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant this season from afar. The retired NBA's most dominant center has admitted that he could not help but feel a little green-eyed about the way the Black Mamba has been able to say goodbye.

Because of injury, O'Neal's marvelous career came to a quick end, depriving him of the opportunity to have the same treatment that the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is getting as he knocks on the door of retirement.

''I wish I would've had a Shaq Tour, yeah,'' the four-time NBA champion stated on Thursday prior to co-hosting TNT's well liked 'Inside The NBA.'

'Definitely. I know it would've been a lot of fun. I know I would've got a lot of gifts. It happened the way it happened. You can't complain. Just gotta move on from it.''

O'Neal, 43, suffered a torn Achilles in year 2011 when he was still playing with the Boston Celtics. He was already 37 years old then.

The two-time NBA scoring champion (for the year 1995 and 2000) has revealed that he was planning to play one more season before the injury and he was going to spend the summer of 2011 setting up his farewell tour.

On his final NBA season, O'Neal averaged 9.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in 37 games he played. The big guy turned down Celtics offer of a rehab for his injury in order for him to make one more go for it.

''For me, it didn't feel right averaging 27 and then being a role player averaging 10,'' O'Neal, who was the year 2000 NBA Most Valuable Player, said.

''I didn't feel like Shaq anymore. So I was like, 'you know what, I'm going to just go and chill and relax.'''

O'Neal could be elected as a finalist for the prestigious Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday.
