Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZOPO mobile has launched a new device called Hero 1 in India. The smartphone will be soon available via online and offline stores in India for the price of Rs 12,000.

"The mobile device market is the most competitive market today and at ZOPO we make sure that we are at par with the contemporary trends. We have a constant eye on the customer demand and behavior, based on which we design and structure out smart devices," according to Kevin Xu, Founder of ZOPO.

ZOPO Hero 1 smartphone is the latest device offered by the Chinese company in the Indian market. The Hero 1 handset features a 5-inch touch screen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels at a PPI of 293 pixels per inch. The device comes in two variant colors; White and Black. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6735 64-bit octa-core processor with Mali-T720 graphics processing unit onboard.

The device comes with 2 GB of RAM and a built-in 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64 GB via a microSD card slot. In terms of the camera on the phone, it sports with a 13.2-megapixel AF rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, and LED flash capabilities. While the front camera features a 5-megapixel snapper with f/2.8 aperture for video calls and selfie purposes.

ZOPO Hero 1 smartphone is equipped with a pre-installed Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The device also supports 4G LTE Connectivity, 3G HSPA+, GPS, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and dual SIM functionality. Hero 1 is fueled with a 2500 mAh capacity battery and features several sensor detectors such as gravity, light, accelerometer, geomagnetic, and hall. The smartphone is measured at a dimension of 146.1mm x 70.6mm x 8.65mm and weighs 136 grams.
