The Phoenix Suns finally found a new home for Markieff Morris months after the disgruntled power forward requested a trade out of Arizona by dealing him to the Washington Wizards just before the NBA's trading deadline hit on Thursday.

In the said deal, Washington simply got the 26-year stretch four while they gave away center DeJuan Blair, power forward Kris Humphries, and a 2016 first-round draft pick in return.

The pick will remain with the Wizards if it does not go below the no. 9 selection, otherwise Phoenix will get it. The top-nine condition will be in effect until the 2021 NBA draft.

Washington currently has a 24-28 record, enough for 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings and two-and-a-half games behind current 8th seed Charlotte Hornets.

The Suns are reportedly enthused not only in at last trading Morris but also about acquiring another draft pick, potentially their third one for this summer, including their own pick that could be in the top five and a pick from the Cavs that could end up from no. 6 to no. 10.

"Today we added another first-round pick to our collection of picks while keeping our young core intact," said Suns GM Ryan McDonough, as per USA Today. "We are excited to watch this group of players continue to develop and grow together."

Meanwhile, Morris also finally got his wish of exiting Phoenix in a publicly-made demand in July of last year. The former Kansas standout told reporters that he wants out of the Suns after the ballclub traded his twin brother, Marcus, to the Pistons that summer and he felt bypassed by the decision.

For months, different NBA teams were trying to negotiate for Morris, but the Suns would not budge until Thursday as the team perhaps ultimately got tired of his attitude and of trying to get him to "perform at his previous levels", via Yahoo Sports.

Morris is averaging 11.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 37 games this season, a slight decline from his averages of 15.3 points and 6.2 rebounds in 2014-2015.
