Hisense Introduces Infinity KO C20 Smartphone With Waterproof and Shockproof Capabilities

Chinese smartphone and smart television manufacturer Hisense has unveiled its latest smartphone called the Infinity KO C20, which features waterproof and shockproof capabilities.
"We've all experienced that anxious feeling when we drop our phone on the floor or in a puddle of water. You never know if you still have a phone after that moment," said Grant Pendlebury, Hisense training manager in Western Cape, as he unveiled the Hisense Infinity KO C20 in Johannesburg.

Pendlebury said that only a few smartphones are smashproof, shockproof, and waterproof, but thanks to the latest Gorilla 4 glass protection, all this features are possible. He also added that their latest device is made for both the outdoors and indoors use.
During Pendlebury's outdoor presentation, he introduced a biker who threw the phone into the air, dropped it on the ground and ride over it with the bicycle wheels. Everyone in the audience was shocked as the device remained intact with no scratches on the screen or on the body itself.
The Hisense Infinity KO C20 smartphone features a 5-inch display screen that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 MSM8929 processor running at 1.36GHz octa-core processor.
"The octa-core allows the user to run multi-programs such as e-mail, GPS, camera all at the same time. The device is able to run up to 12 applications at the same time," Pendlebury added.
The smartphone is packed with 3GB of RAM and equipped with dual 4G LTE capable SIM slots. The device is fueled with a huge 3200mAh capacity battery, which supports quick charging. On the camera, the handset sports a 13-megapixel rear camera, which Phase Detection autofocus and 5-megapixel for the front shooter capable of video capturing up to720p/30fps for full HD video recording.
Hisense Infinity KO C20 comes with a built-in 32GB internal storage and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The smartphone is now available at The Foschini Group stores, Dion Wired, and Game for the price of $260.
