Oppo has silently unveiled its new A30 handset in China. It is now listed on the website of the Chinese manufacturer without any pricing or availability details. It is notably identical both in looks and specifications to the OnePlus X Champagne Edition that was released late last year.
Oppo A30 has a 5-inch full-HD display with full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 and is made out of a metal frame that is placed in-between two pieces of glass. A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974 SoC that is clocked at 2.3 GHz clubbed with 3 GB of RAM powers it along with an Adreno 330 GPU and Oppo's ColorOS 2.1 UI. It is identical to the OnePlus X that sports the 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor. It is packed with 16 GB of expandable, built-in storage. There is still no word on the full capacity of the expandable storage of the handset.

Iit runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and is packed with a 2525 mAh non-removable battery. It weighs 138 grams and measures 140 mm x 69 mm x 6.9 mm. It also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone has an ambient light sensor, proximity, and accelerometer sensors.
Oppo A30 is expected to be priced similarly to the OnePlus X because of identical specifications. The expected price is around $306. There is no news yet of whether it will be sold outside China since the OnePlus X is already on sale in many markets.
