Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is reportedly being targeted by English Premier League giants Manchester United in the summer for a transfer fee of £40 million.
Caught Offside reported that the 29-year-old Uruguay international also "wants a move" to England at the end of the season and that "United and Chelsea are both keen on a transfer".

The Red Devils allegedly has the upperhand in the upcoming summer tug-of-war as the Stamford Bridge residents are said to be focusing on different players when the transfer window reopens.
However, reports are out that United is not in agreement to the reigning Ligue 1 champions' £40 million asking price for the Salto, Uruguay native.
The Old Trafford residents had submitted a £50 million bid for Cavani two seasons ago, which was rejected by PSG, and the team's officials made it clear that they will not spend anywhere near that amount at this time.
Cavani, who is considered as one of the world's best strikers, had scored 12 goals in 21 appearances in the French top flight this season, but had been playing second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimović in Laurent Blanc's squad most of the time.
There are rumors that the Uruguayan is currently on a fall out with both Ibrahimović and the Parisians' head coach because of his limited first team opportunities with Les Rouge-et-Bleu, which is said to be the main reason why he wants to exit the club this summer.
Cavani is in the third year of the five-year contract he signed with PSG last July 2013 that cost Les Parisiens €64.5 million, so far the 13th largest transfer fee in association football history.
Meanwhile, ESPN indicated that the striker's father wants his son to move to either Barcelona, Real Madrid, or United next season as he will remain unhappy if he stays with PSG.
Cavani's father also said that he wanted him to "join a club that is capable of becoming European champions".
"I want him to win the Champions League, but he has to play for one of the few teams who can do so," said the elder Cavani. "You have to go to Barcelona, Real or Manchester, who invest in order to be European champions. It's like with our national team - I always say that even our grandchildren won't see them winning the World Cup."
