Spain-based smartphone manufacturing company Weimei Mobile has unveiled its latest smartphone called the WePlus at the Mobile World Congress 2016. Weimei WePlus is one of the company's flagship phones and it was designed along with the famous Chinese phone maker Gionee.
The collaborative work of Weimei and Gionee has brought out WePlus - and it looks like this is the smartphone to beat when it comes to its looks and performance.

Weimei WePlus is a sleek-looking smartphone with a metal unibody composed of 89 percent aluminum with an elegant mirrored finish on the sides. It has a 5.5-inch Super-AMOLED display with a paltry resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It comes with an octa-core processor with a sufficient 3 GB of RAM. It also has a 32 GB of internal memory for the storage with the option of expanding it up to 128 GB via a microSD card. It includes a large 3150 mAh battery and USB Type-C connector that is located at the bottom of the device.
Weimei WePlus is powered by a 64-bit octa-core SoC clocked at 1.3 GHz. It has a 77.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also offers a 4G LTE connectivity, both TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE bands. A 13-megapixel CMOS camera with f/2.0 aperture and a LED flash is placed at the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel CMOS shooter with f/2.2 aperture is located up front. Three different color options are available for the LED notification light. Two SIM card slots are also available on the inside.
Weimei WePlus weighs 145 grams and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company's own weOS skin. It sports three capacitive buttons below the display with a loudspeaker placed on the bottom. It will be available in silver and grey color options.
