Chinese smartphone maker Alcatel is well known for its budget friendly and high quality handheld devices. Recently, the Chinese company introduced its latest device running on Windows 10 operating system called the Alcatel Plus 10 - a 2-in-1 LTE ready tablet.
The Alcatel Plus 10 tablet is a 2-in-1 multipurpose device, which means that the tablet can be transformed into a laptop by attaching a keyboard dock. The "Dock mode" feature of the device is very helpful because it allows users to have an ideal viewing experience - whether it be watching movies, or doing a slideshow presentation.

In terms of the design, the tablet does not have a premium feeling since its outer panel and structure is made up of plastic shell. The keyboard features chicklet-styled buttons that have decent travel, trackpad, spaced evenly from one another, its own battery that supplement's the tablet's own, and additional ports that are otherwise not available in competing keyboard docks.
The tablet features a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display screen. The device is powered by quad-core 1.92GHz Intel Atom Z8350 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It is capable of light editing task, but it does not possess the power to handle 4K video editing.
Alcatel Plus 10 tablet is currently priced at $500 and will be available in Europe by June. Unfortunately, the company has released no word regarding the availability of the device in the US market.
