Hello Games, developer of the highly anticipated video game "No Man's Sky," claims that the game is so massive that they believe no gamer will be able to complete the main objective, which is to reach the middle of the universe.

"No Man's Sky" uses complex algorithm to generate unique worlds which gamers can discover or inhabit. Hello Games developers have revealed that the game will have 18,446,744, 073,709,551,616 unique planets - this will make it even more difficult to probably meet a human player on the game.

Procedurally generated games are not entirely new in the video game business. However, with "No Man's Sky," this is the first time the idea is being employed on a massive scale.

Hello Games claims that everything in "No Man's Sky" are procedurally generated. These include galaxies, stars, planets and everything that can be found on it like plants and creatures.

"No Man's Sky" also features realistic physics. In an interview with Gamasutra, Hello Games managing director Sean Murray said, "We have people that will fly down from a space station onto a planet and when they fly back up, the station isn't there anymore; the planet has rotated. People have filed that as bug."

Murray added that gamers will not be able to finish the game, not because of its difficulty, but because of the game's sheer size. He estimates that most gamers would probably quit the game before completing at least one percent of it.

"No Man's Sky" is so massive that it has spawned a new genre for itself called open-universe.

"No Man's Sky" was originally billed as an indie game. However, recent reports claim that the game will pick a hefty price tag of around $60 and will be listed as a mainstream AAA title. The game's official distributor, Sony, is yet to confirm these rumors.

"No Man's Sky" is expected to hit the shelves in June and will be released on Windows PC and PlayStation 4.
