Oppo Unveils Super VOOC Battery Technology That Will Charge Phone in 15 Minutes

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo officially unveiled its latest innovation at the recent Mobile World Congress 2016 called the Super VOOC Flash Charge technology, which according to the company, can fully charge a phone in just 15 minutes.
Since slow charging time is a common problem among smartphone users, the Chinese company developed a solution to this problem by presenting the Super VOOC Flash Charge technology. According to Oppo, the latest Super VOOC Flash Charge technology will improve the original VOOC Flash Charge. The original version of this technology was first introduced by OPPO in the market way back to 2014 and now it is currently used by 18 million consumers worldwide.

The original VOOC Flash Charge revolutionized the charging time of phones by giving the users 2 hours of talk after just 5 minutes of charging. This time, the latest Super VOOC technology will offer full 10 hours of talk time with only five minutes of charging, and can fully charge a 2500 mAh battery in only 15 minutes.
Oppo's latest technology uses a 5V low-voltage pulse-charge algorithm, which will ensure a low-temperature charge that is safe for the battery and dynamically regulating the current to charge the phone in the shortest time possible. Oppo also revealed that the all-new algorithm comes along with a customized super battery, new adapter, cable and a connector made up of premium, military-grade materials. The Super VOOC Flash Charge technology also supports Micro USB or type-C interfaces.
The company promises that its latest technology is safe since has a low-temperature charging algorithm, making it safe to use a phone while it is charging.
Aside from unveiling the latest fast charging innovation at the event, the Chinese company also introduced a new smartphone user experience called the SmartSensor image stabilization, which will improve a user's smartphone's camera.
