Chinese Super League 2016: Beijing Guoan vs Hebei China Fortune, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

(Photo : Getty Images) Beijing Guoan FC is set to open the new CSL season against newly-promoted squad Hebei China Fortune FC on Friday.
Capital city squad Beijing Guoan FC (0-0-0, 0 points) is scheduled to open its 2016 Chinese Super League season campaign on Friday, March 11th as it faces newly-promoted club Hebei China Fortune FC (1-0-0, 3 points) at the Workers' Stadium in Beijing.
Beijing Guoan will begin the new season featuring their three new international acquisitions, namely Brazilian midfielders Ralf and Renato Augusto and Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz to join their other two imports, Brazilian Kléber and Uzbek Egor Krimets.

The Sun reported that the Imperial Guards are targeting Crystal Palace midfielder Wilfried Zaha to reinforce their squad as early as this summer, although there are no indications who among their existing five internationals are they planning to release when that time comes.
Guoan had also reportedly tried to lure former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers to be the club's head coach this season, but negotiations were said to be unfruitful up to this time.
Beijing is currently managed by former Inter Milan and Juventus boss Alberto Zaccheroni.
Meanwhile, Hebei China had already finished their first game of the season, a 2-1 win over Guangzhou R&F FC at the Yuexiushan Stadium in Guangdong on March 4th to open the new season, as per Xinhuanet.
Former AS Roma striker Gervinho and new acquisition Ersan Gülüm scored the two goals for head coach Li Tie's squad at the 28th and 40th minutes. Gülüm had an own goal right at the 11th minute, which put the hosts on the board.
The Samba Kings also had their share of big-name acquisitions during the Chinese winter transfer window with five new imports: Gervinho, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Stéphane Mbia, Gaël Kakuta, and Gülüm.
