Some tech experts were skeptical about the authenticity of the leak. However, tech informant Evan Blass, known for his Twitter handle @evleaks, suggests that the HTC 10 will be launched on April 19. Blass based his estimate on the date that appeared on the leaked render.

Some tech forums speculate that the HTC 10 will be launched in London. However, due to the recent change in the launch date, some tech analysts expect that the launch venue will be moved to a different location.

The HTC 10 flagship smartphone is expected to come with a 5.2-inch display with Quad HD resolution. The device is rumored to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will have a 12-megapixel camera and will also support USB Type-C.
