The Dub's Splash Brother scored a combined 71 points to take vengeance for the Golden State Warriors' embarrassing loss in Portland less than a month ago by crushing the Trail Blazers with a 128-112 victory at the Oracle Arena on Friday evening.

The reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry finished the game with 34 points, while the current NBA All-Star three-point shootout king Klay Thompson erupted with a game-high 37 points. With the win, the league's defending champions extended their regular-season home game winning record of 47 games.

Curry and Thompson connected a combined 15 three-pointers of the teams 18 made shots from beyond the arc region (Andre Iguodala hitting the two and with Brandon Rush the remaining one).

"Klay came out blazing. Me, not so much," Curry, who went 13 for 23 from the field and 7 for 14 from the three-point range, said. "It took me a while to get into it. He brought a lot of energy on both ends of the floor. We kind of fed off of that. It was a huge pick up considering how poorly we played against them last time."

Starting forward Draymond Green contributed another double-double game production of 17 points and 13 rebounds, along with 7 assists and a perfect 9 for 9 from the foul line.

The Warriors dominated the entire game as the Splash Brothers exploded in the early quarters to end the first half with a huge 20-point lead 81-61. Golden State continued pounding the visiting Trail Blazers and limited Portland's point production to just 25 points in the third period, while the Warriors dropped 29 to even stretch their lead 110-86.

The Trail Blazers made a 10-0 run in the early minutes of the fourth quarter to cut the deficit within 14. The Warriors retaliated with a 7-0 run to secure a 21-point margin with over eight minutes to go.

CJ McCollum scored 18 points and Damian Lillard had 17 for the Trail Blazers, who dropped to 34-32 and remain on the sixth spot of the Western Conference team standings.
