Chinese Basketball Association Foreign Most Valuable Player of the Year 2016 Michael Beasley showed beyond doubt that he belongs to the most popular basketball league in the world.

Beasley, who is fresh coming from a fairly successful stint in China, scored 18 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and had 1 steal in barely 15 minutes of playing for the Houston Rockets as they snapped the fourteen home game supremacy of the Eastern Conference third leading basketball squad Boston Celtics with a 102-98 victory.

"I'm starting to feel comfortable, my teammates make it easy," Beasley, who just signed for the Rockets on March 4, said. "JB (Bickerstaff) put me in the right spots and told me to attack. I felt pretty good."

The 2008 NBA draft 2^nd overall pick scored 10 points of his total game output in the final quarter giving time for James Harden to rest in the early minutes of the period.

"He crushed us. He crushed us. He was great," Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said of Beasley's game performance.

The former Kansas State University Wildcats hotshot was averaging 31.9 points, 13.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.0 steals for the Shandong Golden Stars in the CBA.  He was the main man of the Chinese squad and guided the team to a 28 wins and 10 losses in the league's regular season.

He successfully led Shandong to a playoff spot against the season's leading and powerhouse team Liaoning Flying Leopards. The Michael Beasley-led Shandong eventually was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

Beasley, 27, is currently averaging 9.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 steal in 9.3 minutes in the hard wood in his three official games for the Houston Rockets, who are presently on the seventh place in the Western Conference team standings.
