"Jason Terry did what he does," Houston Rockets interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff said. "He hits huge shots. He's clutch. He's been that way for a long, long time."
Harden, who scored a game-high 29 points, was only an assist short of registering another double-double game performance. Howard, who had 21 points, grabbed a game-high 18 rebounds, along with 2 blocked shots for the Rockets, who improved to 32-32.
"We've just got to continue to do the things that we're doing that's making us successful," Harden, who went 8 for 26 from the field and 0 for 8 from the three-point range, said. "Defensively, we're really keying and shutting teams down. And offensively, we're sharing the basketball, moving around and guys are just playing well."
Houston's Patrick Beverly and Trevor Ariza also chipped in with 16 and 15 points respectively.
The 76ers ended the opening quarter with a 27-21 lead, but the Rockets made a big 40-25 run in the second quarter to cap the first half of the game with 61-52 lead.

In the final period of the match, the 76ers made a 22-10 charge that narrow the gap within two points 103-101 when Thompson sank a trey with 4:37 minutes still to go. However, Terry came to the rescue and saved the Rockets from losing the game.
