Gionee W909 Clamshell to be Launched on March 29 in China

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has announced that its upcoming device called the W909 Clamshell will be launched on March 29 in China.
In regards to the specification of the device, the Gionee W909 smartphone will feature a MediaTek's Helio P10 chipset, also known as MT6755. The device is powered by 64-bit SoC 2 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor paired with a Mali-T860 GPU. What makes this device interesting is that it has a whopping 4GB of RAM on board, which can handle multiple apps running at the same time.

Another main attraction of this device is the fingerprint sensor support. The rest of the specifications of the device include two 720p displays screen with 1280 x 720 HD resolutions, a built-in 32GB internal storage and a microSD card slot. Also, the internal storage of the device can be expanded up to 128 GB. The Gionee W909 smartphone will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, along with Gionee's Amigo 3.1 user interface on top of it.
In terms of the camera, the handset will sport a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5MP at the front. The device is sleek and slim in design since it only measures a dimension of 124.6 x 62.5 x 16.4 mm and weighs around 210 grams.
