Several leaked iPhone 7 case images have surfaced online, showing what looks like an iPhone 6S smartphone. The supposed iPhone 7 cover features curved edges and a flat back panel similar to the iPhone 6S. It also shows a big hole for the phone's rear camera and LED flash, possibly confirming rumors that claim Apple will remove the camera bump on the iPhone 7.

The supposed iPhone 7 case also does not feature any slot for the 3.5 mm audio jack. This means users may have to listen to music through the Lightning port or bluetooth headphones. The Lightning port cutout has two holes for equalized speaker grilles on both sides of the handset which could possibly deliver stereo sound output.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that Apple will release a high-end version of the iPhone 7 Plus version called the iPhone 7 Pro. The iPhone 7 Pro could sport a dual-camera.

All iPhone 7 variants are expected not to come with horizontal antenna bands on their rear panels, but the leaked images still cannot confirm this. Speculations suggest that the upcoming smartphones will not only come with a refreshed design but also new features such as the Apple A10 chip, wireless charging and a bend-free design. Other rumors include a thinner build, which could potentially sacrifice battery life.

The iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro are slated to be introduced in September 2016. Apple will hold an event on March 21 to debut some of its new products such as the 4-inch iPhone SE (Special Edition), a smaller 9.7-inch iPad Pro version, a VR and new bands for the Apple Watch.
