Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is not well known in India, but the company has already established a name in China. Vivo, which entered the Indian market in the late 2014, is bringing its latest flagship device called the V1 Max to the country for the price of Rs 10,000 ($149).
In terms of the device's specification, the Vivo V1 max smartphone features a large 5.5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM on board.

The V1 Max comes with a built-in 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The smartphone runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system along with a layer of the company's proprietary FunTouch 2.1 user interface on top of it. On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear snapper and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera suitable for selfies and video call lovers.
The device also supports several connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS with AGPS, Infrared port, A2DP, v4.0, EDR and microUSB. Vivo V1 Max is packed with 2720 mAh capacity battery on board. Even though the device has a larger screen, its structure is still slim as it only measures a dimension of 6.8mm x 154 x 77 x 6.8mm and weighs 165 grams.
The Vivo V1 Max smartphone offers a large display, good camera, slim, sleek, and premium in design. On the flip side, the device has considerable heating issues, poor reception issues, and fares poor in low-light photography.
