Tech giant LG announced its latest device at the Mobile World Congress called the LG Stylus 2, the first smartphone in the world to feature the DAB+ Radio support.
Unlike the previously released DAB feature, the new DAB+ technology will decode digital broadcast by the radio station that supports it. This technology will support selected European and Australia countries with a DAB+ radio decoder.

DAB+ technology is a step-up from the regular DAB but with a more efficient system, which provides better audio quality at lower bitrates and has been adopted in many regions already such as the United Kingdom, but only few offer DAB+ services.
TheTake note that the LG Stylus 2 can both decode the original DAB and DAB+ broadcasts, so the smartphone will be able to playback digital stations here. The phone will be initially available in countries such as Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Norway and Australia, but the exact release date is not yet finalized.
In terms of the overall specification of the device, the LG Stylus 2 smartphone features a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution display screen. The handheld device is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor paired with 1.5 GB of RAM on board. The handset comes with a built-in 16 GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card slot.
On the software side, the smartphone is running the Android 6.0 operating system and fueled with a removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh capacity battery on board. The device comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with sensors and can capture 1080p video resolution while the front shooter sports 8-megapixels for selfies and video calling purposes.
