NBA Recap: Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson Jack Up Golden State Warriors to Beat Los Angeles Clippers

The Golden State Warriors continued their dominance of the league and extended their unblemished home game record by crushing the visiting Los Angeles Clippers with a 114-98 victory at the Oracle Arena on Wednesday evening.

Stephen Curry finished the game with a game-high 33 points including four treys and Klay Thompson added with 32 points while hitting seven three-pointers to lead the Warriors to their 51st straight regular home game triumph.

Starting forward Draymond Green had another double-double game of 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Harrison Barnes and Shaun Livingston each contributed with 11 points for the league's current No. 1 club.

"I've maintained all along we're trying to get the 1 seed. That's a really important deal for us. We're not there yet," Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said.

The Warriors went into their locker room with a slim two-point lead at the halftime 51-49. Golden State made a 10-1 run in the early minutes of the third quarter that gave them an 11-point lead 61-50.

The game entered the final period with the Warriors in front 81-72. The host team stormed the Clippers with a 9-2 run that gave Golden State their biggest lead of the ball game of 16 points 90-74 with 9:06 minutes remaining.

The Clippers managed to narrow the gap within seven 90-87 with still over seven minutes in the game clock. However, the Warriors contained the visiting team and established another 16-point lead 107-91 with over two minutes left to play.

DeAndre Jordan had a team-high 19 points for the Clippers.
