Hong Kong star Steven Ma stars in the new Chinese drama "Demon Girl" as a demon leader. Just recently, a poster of his character has been revealed which shows him sporting an all-black outfit, elf ears, and a fierce look on his face.

Ma shared that his role as a demon leader in Demon Girl, while challenging, is something that he is extremely interested in. He described his character, whose demon name is still unknown, is someone who is also loyal and principled.

This is Ma's first attempt at playing an unconventional character, especially since he has recently been trying to expand his acting portfolio. Asked how far he would go for a role, he simply answered that there is no limit.

As for what will make him say yes to a role, he said, "As long as the material has artistic value and the script allows room for artistic expression, I will be interested."

So, will he also be interested in roles which will require him to strip down? The actor explained that he would be if it is actually necessary, saying, although he could accept the role, he would not "deliberately play on nudity." He continued and joked, "Anyway, I am not especially sexy!"

The "Daddy Good Deeds" actor also briefly talked about the possibility of him returning to TVB and being watched on TVB dramas by hopeful fans once again, especially since two of the network's well-known producers Lau Ka Ho and Mui Siu Ching are making a return. Unfortunately, for his fans, his answer was somewhat vague. "We'll see where fate takes me. As long as the script is attractive, I can work with anyone."

Catch Ma on the upcoming Chinese fantasy drama "Demon Girl." A specific premiere date has yet to be announced.
