Chinese tech giant Huawei is set to unveil its upcoming device called the Huawei Y5 II very soon in the market. The Huawei Y5 II is the successor of last year's entry-level Y5 smartphone.

VentureBeat reported that the upcoming Huawei Y5 II smartphone will bring a number of significant upgrades that will be sure to interest consumers of this class of handsets.

With regards to the specification of Huawei Y5 II, the handheld device will feature a faster processor. Some rumors suggest that the upcoming device is equipped by a 1.3GHz quad core MT6735P MediaTek processor, while the first edition of the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 with four cores running at a maximum of 1.1GHz each.

This second generation smartphone comes with upgraded dimensions and resolution of the display screen. Huawei Y5 II smartphone will sport a full 5-inch screen with 720p High Definition display compare to the original 4.5-inch FWVGA LCD. The memory was also been upgraded, the Y5 II is now equipped with 1GB of RAM on board and comes with a built-in 8GB internal storage capacity.

What makes this device more interesting is that despite its larger size, the device actually weighs in just 135 grams compare to its predecessor which weighs 142 grams.

It has a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter coupled with 8-megapixels rear camera. The battery capacity of the phone is also said to be increased by 200mAh, from 2000mAh to 2200mAh.

Huawei Y5 II smartphone is said to be powered by Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system along with Huawei's EMUI 3.1 user interface. The handset will come in obsidian black, sand gold, arctic, rose pink, white, and sky blue color option.
